Jenny Hodgson, Director, Bangkok

Jenny Hodgson joined the Global Fund for Community Foundations in January 2007. She has worked in the field of local philanthropy development in the former Soviet Union, Sub-Saharan Africa and South East Asia for the last ten years. From 1998-2000 she was Co-Director of the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) representative office in Moscow. While based in Nairobi, Kenya, she worked as a consultant to CAF, the Ford Foundation office for Eastern Africa and Allavida. From 2004-2006, she worked as a consultant to the Ford Foundation's International Initiative to Strengthen Philanthropy (IISP), the European Foundation Centre, the Singapore National Centre for Volunteering and Philanthropy, the Barrow Cadbury Trust and WINGS.
Vadim Samorodov, Programme Manager, Moscow

Vadim has been with the Global Fund for Community Foundations since July 2007. Before that he led the community foundation development work at CAF Russia for six years. He is a member of the Transatlantic Community Foundation Network, a Senior Fellow with the Synergos Institute and an International Fellow with the Centre on Philanthropy and Civil Society (City University, New York). He also served on the Global Fund's Management and Grants Committee in its start-up phase. His work with community foundations has taken him to many different parts of the world and he has also spent time working in Uganda for the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
Natasha Ibbotson, Grants Administrator, Brussels

Natasha joined the Global Fund Community Foundations as an intern in March 2008. She graduated from the University of Oxford in 2007 with a degree in Classics and then spent three months working for an arts organisation in Berlin.
Shane Lawlor, Intern, Brussels

Shane recently joined the Global Fund for Community Foundations as an intern in November 2008. He graduated from Canterbury University in 2007 with a degree in History and English, afterwards spending 6 months working for a sports and arts non for profit organization in London.
The Fund currently operates as a "virtual" organization, with its small staff based in different regions of the world. The Fund's administration is based at the European Foundation Centre in Brussels, Belgium; Director, Jenny Hodgson is based in Bangkok, Thailand, and Programme Manager, Vadim Samorodov in Moscow, Russia.
