How to Apply
Applicants should first submit a preliminary letter of intent of no more than 3 pages by email to info@wings-globalfund.org . Fund staff will then determine basic eligibility and will be ready to provide technical advice on the proposed activities. The letter of intent should include:
- Contact information
- Mission, primary activities and annual budget of the organization
- Details of the area and population served (for a community foundation) or of the area and organizations served (for a support organization)
- Description and rationale for proposed grant-funded activities and anticipated outcomes
- Grant amount requested
- Timing / duration of the proposed activity
If the letter of intent satisfies the Fund's criteria, applicants will be sent an application form for completion.
The next deadline for the submission of letters of intent will be September 20th, 2008.
Evaluation
Successful applicants will be required to participate in the Fund's evaluation programme, which aims not only to improve the design and delivery of our grantmaking, but also to identify useful experiences that can be shared.
